My reflection:
“A conversation with God has a way of putting things in perspective. He often helps us change our attitude, find a solution, or see the humor. God shows us what our talents and gifts are and how to put them to use for our success and peace of mind. God reminds us that mistakes and failures are okay; he helps us learn from them and gives us the confidence to go on.
Life can be tough with all its challenges and problems – we get tired and fed up, and sometimes we feel overwhelmed – but it really isn’t all that difficult when you have God… That’s when life is as simple as a prayer.”Barbara Cage

My reflection:
“Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling five balls in the air. You name them-work, family, health, friends, and spirit – and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls-family, health, friends, and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, and even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.”Brian Dyson

My reflection:
Readjust your attitude. Start to think positively, knowing you have what it takes to accomplish your goals.
Refresh your spirit. Dream new dreams letting the possibilities grow into visions.
Renew your faith. Believe you have a purpose – a higher calling design just for you.
Remember your loved ones. They are there to applaud your victories, encourage you on your journey, and help you through the challenges. ” Sue Davis Potts

My reflection:
“Make a point to delight in every little thing. The more things you consider to be a reason for joy, the more joyful you will be.
A few things are so overwhelmingly positive or so completely negative as to not need any judgment on your part. All the other things, though, depends largely on how are you see them.
If you see something as a curse it will be a curse. If you see it as a blessing it will indeed be a blessing for you.
Don’t allow others to poison your attitude with their complaints and their gloomy pessimism. Be aggressively and proactively positive.
Find delight in the little things. And you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how delightful the big things turned out to be, too.”

My reflection:
“If you want to be healthy morally, mentally, and physically, just let go. Let go of the little annoyances of every day life, the irritations and the petty vexations that cross your path daily. Don’t take them up, nurse them, pat them, and brood over them. They are not worthwhile. Let them go!
Learn to let go. As you value health of body and peace of mind, let go – just simply let go.”

My reflection is from Living Faith:
I have seen the Lord…John 20:18
I’ve always been somewhat of a Mary Magdalene fangirl. Not only does she play a special role in Jesus life, death and resurrection, but she’s a woman! Anyone who argues Christianity lacks proper regard for women and their dignity need look no further than Mary Magdalene. At the foot of the cross, Mary’s faith proved unwavering. She’s the first to witness the resurrected Lord. Jesus wants to see her first and trusts her to share the good news, earning her the title the ‘Apostle of the Apostles.’At the moment Jesus speaks her name, Mary recognizes he is risen. Then, with evangelical fervor like no other, she rushes to tell the others, ‘I have seen the Lord!’
Lord, allow your extraordinary relationship with Mary Magdalene to remind me to recognize the beauty and dignity of all women who, like Mary, trust, believe and are eager to share your love with others.” Kate Wicker
I always wonder after Jesus saw Mary Magdalene and told her to go tell the apostles, “Where did he go? “I believe that he went to Mary, his mother and had breakfast with her assuring her that he was okay and risen.?

My reflection is from Living Faith:
God raised this Jesus; this we are all witnesses. Acts 2:32
“Reimagine that first Easter-the emotional peaks and valleys that have just transpired. Today’s scriptures show Mary Magdalene fearful-yet overjoyed running to announce Jesus’ resurrection. And Peter and the apostles boldly proclaim Christ to people who crucified him.
Yes. We are all witnesses – sometimes testifying to the Risen Jesus for others.  What does that look like for you? Have you ever had the brashness of Peter and the apostles, setting straight those who offend our Lord? Maybe, like Mary Magdalene, you’ve harnessed fear and joy, announcing great news to those closest to you? We are called to witness in countless ways. Christ did not place us in a witness protection program to avoid anyone who might threaten us and our desire to testify. No. But he did places in the world desperately needing his joy. And in that, we are all his witnesses.
Dear Jesus, please help us to credibly witness the joy of your resurrection in all we do. ” Kathleen Swartz McQuaig
