My reflection:
“Take a moment to look around and smile at your life and your choices. Don’t worry about the paths you should have taken or the opportunities you ignored. Instead, breathe in the life that surrounds you – let it fill your soul with light and hope.
Reflect on the past and all the memories, good and bad, that have made you who you are today. Your journey is far from over, as you will continue to grow, change, and flourish.
Life can be so busy, and we sometimes take for granted the important little things that make us smile. Look at the sunset, share a cup of coffee with your best friend, or hear the wind rustle through the trees. Take some time to listen to life and feel the sun on your face, and stop to watch butterflies in your garden.
Take a moment every day to think positive thoughts.” Carol Schelling
Take time to thank God for all the gifts that we have been given.?

my reflection:
Today is the memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary.
“His mother treasured all these things in her heart.” this is how the Gospel of Luke describes Mary‘s reflection on the mystery of Jesus. The rosary is a tool that helps Christians to reflect on the life, death and resurrection of Christ. People have prayed the rosary in its present form for more than 500 years.
The most important and most beautiful prayers for Christians are the psalms. Some people try to pray all 150 psalms each week. Many people learn a few psalms by heart and pray one psalm before going to bed at night. some people even sing them in the shower.
A long time ago, when many people couldn’t read, they would pray the “Hail Mary” instead of singing psalms.
That is why the full form of the rosary has 15 groups of ten beads, which totals 150, one for each psalm in the Bible. this is often shortened to five groups of ten beads.
During this month let us try to make an effort to try to say the rosary as often as we can.?

My reflection:
Mary… sat beside the Lord… listening to him speak. Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me.” The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part…” Luke 10: 39-42
“For years, reading the story I have felt the unfairness of Martha being stuck with getting everything done to feed Jesus and those who came with him. He didn’t understand how hard that is. Then I read it on a day when I was terribly worried. I began to hear a loving tone in his voice and realized he was inviting her, (and right then, me) to the one thing needed – to sit in his loving presence.
Jesus, when we are anxious, help us pause and realize we are in your loving presence. When we need to continue serving, help us hold your presence close.” Patricia Livingston
Jesus is always inviting us to come closer… to be in his presence

“Positive thinking is a habit… we can practice it every day until it becomes second nature to us – and along the way, transform our lives.” Washington L. Crowley
Taking each day time to pray also can become a very positive habit. ?

My reflection:
“Drop a pebble in the water,
And it’s ripples reach out far;
And the sun beams dancing on them
May reflect them to a star.
Give a smile to someone passing,
Thereby making his morning glad;
It may greet you in the evening
When your own heart may be sad.
Do a deed of simple kindness;
Though it’s and you may not see,
It may reach, like widening ripples,
Down a long eternity” Joseph Nor

My reflection is from Living Faith:
Say that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father. Matthew 18:10
“As ‘a little one,’ I was taught both at home and in the parochial school I attended that a guardian angel was with me at all times. Children are impressionable, and I was no exception. That message took root and led me to trust in this protection and guidance. Years later, I continue to draw strength and comfort from this teaching, especially when I’ve had a close call – like the time a young driver ran a red light as I drove through a busy intersection. That car came within inches of crashing into where I was seated. After I managed to stop shaking from freight, I thought of my angel and offered thanks. This feast, the Holy Guardian Angels, reminds us to awaken our awareness of those hidden ones who are there for us in our time of need. It’s amazing how often they come through for us.” Sr. Joyce Rupp, O.S.M

My reflection:
“ May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand. May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism. Always know that there are always those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone.” Sandra Sturtz Hauss
Let us always remember that God is always walking with us no matter what we are going through

My reflection:
 May the days be good to you: comforting more often than crazy and giving more often than taking.
May the passing seasons make sure that any heartaches are replaced with a million smiles and that any hard journeys eventually turn into nice, easy miles that take you everywhere you want to go.
May your dreams do their absolute best to come true.
May your heart be filled with the kindness of friends, the caring of everyone you love, and the richness of memories you wouldn’t trade for anything.
May life‘s little worries always stay small. May you get a little closer every day to any goals you want to achieve.
May any changes be good ones and any challenges turn out to be for the better.
May you find time to do the things you’ve always wanted to do!
And may you have positive thoughts forever.” Douglas Pagels

My reflection:
“Many people go from one thing to another searching for happiness
But with each new venture they find themselves more confused and less happy until they discover that what they are searching for is inside themselves and what will make them happy is sharing their real selves with the ones they love” Susan Polis Schutz
 I remember reading the only person responsible for your happiness is the person that you are looking at in the mirror. ?
