“Remember when you were a child and how easy it was to play pretend? You could get lost in your dreams and suspended in your imagination, and it seemed like you could do anything. You were the main character in your own movies of what you wanted to happen, and you’d go to that wonderland, that place where you were so happy that your dream had actually come true.
You may be grown-up now, but you are still a child of God – so why not believe you have the same power? Except this time, take your dreams to that higher place and declare with certainty: ‘I break the chain of habitual thinking of worst case scenarios based on my physical being. I invite my imagination and God to create the realities I pray for in my life. I will appreciate every blessing and each bit of newfound wisdom that come to me.’ Then state your wants and needs clearly to God, thank Him for giving you the desires of your heart, and absolutely know they’re on the way.” Donna Fargo

“Look at the sky, and in its vastness see the love God has for you. Feel the wind, and recognize God’s touch.
Be aware of the gifts God has given you every time you feel the connection you share with family and friends. Know that He placed them in your life to fill it with love you can touch.

My reflection:

After my Mom died, I remember Easter and how I did not feel like celebrating Jesus resurrection. There was a passage that struck me…that celebrating Jesus risen from the dead was not about an emotion, feeling joyful. It was about love. We do not have to feel joyful to realize that God is in our midst. ?

My reflection is the prayer of St. Brigid:
Saint Brigid.
You were a woman of peace.
You brought harmony where there was conflict.
You brought light to the darkness.
You brought Hope to the downcast.
May the mantle of your peace cover those who are troubled and anxious, and may peace be firmly rooted in our hearts and in our world.
Inspire us to act justly and two reverence all God has made.
Brigid you were a voice for the wounded and the weary.
Strengthen what is weak within us.
Come us into a quietness that heals and listens.
May we grow each day into greater wholeness in mind, body and spirit. Amen.

My reflection:
“One day the teacher… asked that I read from Lessons in Truth, a section which ended with these words: ‘God loves me.’ I read the piece and closed the book, and the teacher said, ‘Read it again.’ I pointedly opened the book, and I sarcastically read, ‘God loves me.’ He said, ‘Again.’ After about the seventh repetition I began to sense that there might be truth in the statement, that there was a possibility that God really did love me. Me, Maya Angelou. I suddenly began to cry at the grandness of it all. I knew that if God loved me, then I could do wonderful things, I could try great things, learn anything achieve anything. For what could stand against me with God, since one person, any person with God, constitutes the majority?” Maya Angelou
If God is for us nothing can be against us!?

My reflection:
“You are made to dream, to hope, and to imagine; you are meant to reach, to stretch, and to soar; you are created to laugh, to live, and to love.
There is enough that can go wrong in life without undermining yourself. Life tends to grant you exactly what you invite in with your thoughts. If you think, act, and talk negatively, your world will most likely be negative. Your attitude is a choice you make.
It’s possible to change your life by simply adjusting your attitude. Optimism and enthusiasm will most often create real achievement and lasting joy. It takes so little in life to be truly happy, and most everything you need can be found within yourself – in your own heart and soul in the way you choose to think.
Get rid of negative thoughts, and try to avoid negative people. Think, act, and talk with honesty, integrity, and a positive attitude. Surround yourself with encouraging, loving people, and you will attain a deep sense of inner peace, which is the heart of all happiness and true success.” Vickie M. Worsham
Two people can go through the exact situation and have different feelings about what happened. It is all based on one’s attitude. Let us ask God to give us the grace to be positive in our life.?

My reflection:
“Look in the mirror and smile… and see an amazing person looking back at you. You really are someone special, and your presence is a present to the world around you.
When you’re counting your blessings, be sure to include the privilege of having a new sunrise every morning and a brand new beginning every day.
Don’t ever give up on your hopes and dreams. Your happiness is depending on you to stay strong.
Know that you can reach deep inside and find everything you need to get through each moment that lies ahead.
When you talk to those who matter most, open the door to your heart. The wider it is, the easier it will be for things like compassion and understanding to come inside. And it just naturally follows… the more wonderful visitors you have, the more your life will shine.
Unwind a little and smile a lot and try not to worry too much. Know that you’re loved and cared for… and that, whenever you need them, your guardian angels are great about working overtime.” Douglas Pagels
All of these are important items that you can do each day. Don’t forget to stop and thank God for each little miracle.
