My reflection today:
May you always have an Angel by your side. Watching out for you and all the things you do. Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days. Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true. Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun. Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide. May you always have love and comfort and courage.
May you always have an angel by your side. Someone there to catch you if you fall. Encouraging your dreams. Inspiring your happiness. Holding your hand and helping you through it all. In all our days, our lives are changing. Tears come along as well as smiles. Along the road you travel, may the miles be a thousand times more lovely than lovely. And may you always have an angel by your side. Douglas Pagels
Thank you God for the gift of angels in our lives. Those seen and those unseen.?

My reflection today:
” Angels… come as visions, voices, dreams, coincidences, and intuition, the whisper of knowledge at your ear. They come as animals or other people, or as a wash of peace in an ailing heart. Sometimes a stranger may come up and give you just the information or assistance you need. Sometimes you yourself are used as an angel, for a moment, either knowingly or not, speaking words you did not know you knew.
But sometimes these beings come as angels, in the very form that artists show – as being of light, both with and without wings.”
I heard somewhere that the one thing that all religions agree on is that there are angels. Today let us stop and reflect about the times angels have been in our lives.?

My reflection today:
“Have you ever felt that inner tug or a silent voice of caution or an invisible hand leading you down some new path?
Has the light of an exciting new idea suddenly lit up in your mind, or has an inner sense of love made you rise up to help someone in need?
If you look closely you might just see an angel sitting on your shoulder.
This heavenly messenger is your own personal guardian sent to keep you safe and lead you down the steep paths of life. Your angel will direct your steps and watch over you.
Don’t worry. Don’t give up. Just turn your head, and you will see your newest friend sitting on your shoulder… making sure everything is okay.” Dan Lynch
Thank you God for giving us angels to watch over us.?

My reflection today:
“ The world is full of miracles for our five senses if we just open ourselves up to receive them. The trick is to look with fresh eyes, hear with new ears. When we do, we come alive again to the wonders all around us-the slant of light on the skyscraper, the smell of hot asphalt as the rain hits the pavement, the sparkle of a strangers smile-and we feel an uplift of emotion. We touch the sheer joy of being alive.
The uplift is available, free, with no expiration date in every moment of our existence. We can tap into it anywhere, anytime if we bought tune into the world around us.” Mary Jane Ryan
Thank you God for all your gifts of life!?

My reflection today:
“ The very presence of an angel is a communication. Even when an angel crosses our paths in silence, God has said to us, ‘I am here. I am present in your life.’” Tobias Palmer

My reflection today:
“Savor each moment presented to you. Make certain you’ve taken the time to watch the sun both rise and set and have allowed yourself a moment to enjoy the night light’s game of hide-and-seek as the moon and stars peep out of the darkness.
Stop to appreciate the new blossom on a flower as its beauty unfolds and colors the earth.
Be silent and listen to the songs of nature as they greet you. The music of the birds and creatures around us is a gift of Mother Earth.
Smile at the people around you. Be aware that none of us exist within a vacuum and that who we are, what we do, and what we say will have an impact on someone every single day.
Search until you find something good about everyone you come in contact with during your day. It becomes easier with time and practice, and soon you’ll see the positive in each person long before you find their faults. And somehow the weaknesses even in yourself will seem not so great.
Take a moment, even when you think there is none, to listen to the voice that speaks within you. Let it guide you toward your center and point you toward your future.
Learn to like who you are. We are none without our bad points, but don’t allow yourself to focus only on those. Without day, there would be no night. Without cold, there would be no warmth. Without both the good and the bad in each of us, we would exist only as an image and not a real person. Allow yourself to be human – an ever evolving person – but one with many facets.
Love fully. Love freely. And never regret the emotion. It is the most fragile, yet the strongest, of the threads that weaves man’s heart.
And, you’ve heard this before, never put it off. Never fail to tell someone in your life that they are appreciated. It may not need to be said, but how gracefully it falls on the ears anyway, and how fully it embraces and warms the heart.” Brenda Hager
Isn’t this what Jesus calls us to do in our lives? It is a challenge to do this every day in our life. Let us ask God to give us the grace to live this out each day.?

My reflection today:
“Forgiveness is letting go of the pain and accepting what has happened because it will not change.
Forgiveness is dismissing the blame. Choices were made that caused the hurt; you each could have chosen differently, but you didn’t.
Forgiveness is looking at the pain, learning the lessons it has produced, and understanding what you have learned.
Forgiveness allows you to move on toward a better understanding of universal love and your true purpose.
Forgiveness is knowing that love is the answer to our questions and that we all are in someway connected.
Forgiveness is starting over with the knowledge that you have gained. It is saying: ‘I forgive you and I forgive myself. I hope you can do the same.” Judith Mammay

My reflection today:
“A look around the world reminds us that God is in control – holding up each star, sending sunshine down to earth, bringing beauty into life.
One glance around the world can give our hearts a peaceful feeling of security and knowing that God is watching over us. He won’t forget to let the rivers flow or keep the flowers blooming in their fields.
He colors in the spaces of our lives with moments to be thankful for and tender, loving care. With His majestic touch each night turns in today as a son wakes up the world again and time blesses us once more.
It’s a wonderful thing to look at life and realize that the old, old story of God’s love continues on. He’s in control, and He keeps all things beautiful for us.” Barbara J. Hall
Thank you God for all your gifts of life.?

My reflection today:
” Joy in your heart, your mind, your soul. Happiness with yourself and with the world. Harmony. Courage to feel, to need, to reach out. Freedom to let yourself be bound by love. Friendship. Wisdom to learn, to change, to let go. Acceptance of the truth and beauty within yourself. Growth. Pleasure in all that you see and touch and do. Peace with yourself and with the universe.”
These are important treasures in our lives. Let’s not take for granted the little things in our lives that have so much meaning. God gives us these gifts each day.?

my reflection today is from Living Faith:
Then Tobit went back in, rejoicing and praising God with full voice for everything that had happened. Tobit 11:15
“Tobit had two good reasons to be grateful. His sight was restored and his son returned home safely from his long journey. Little wonder he expressed his gratitude to God ‘with full voice.’
I believe that gratitude is a sign that we are close to God. Why do I say this? First, when we are grateful, we are humbly acknowledging that someone has given us something, that is, we are on the receiving end of someone else’s generosity. Ultimately, the giver of all good gifts is God. Second, when we are grateful, we are ordinarily very happy. Gratitude is expressed not in frowns and sadness, but in smiles and joyful exuberance. And third, when we are grateful, we often want to share our good fortune with others. Gratitude begets generosity.
What are you grateful for today?
Giver of all gifts, help me to see the blessings of this particular day. May my gratitude for these gift spring me closer to you and to others.” Sr. Melanie Svoboda, S.N.D.
