My reflection:
“As you traverse life‘s diverse pathways, you will encounter many obstacles, some good and some bad. All are learning experiences.
Life is simply a journey, and we all start at the beginning. Embrace everything life has to offer; you never know when the journey will end.
For some their time spent on enlightenment is short, for others it’s long, but it is up to each of us to work out our own direction.
No one knows what is right for another – it is hard enough to know what is right for ourselves. Try to understand others, or at least make allowances for them. Their journeys may be more arduous than yours.
There are no failures and no successes, only lessons learned.” Gary Seymour
God, give us the grace to accept each day as it comes.

My reflection:
A prayer spoken from the deepest longings of the heart always touches God
When it seems as though everything is falling apart and there is nothing more you can do, at that very moment stop and give thanks to God has heard your prayer
Trust in your faith even when it’s hard, and believe that God is moved by your prayer and a miracle will be born
Never give up – let yourself be awed by the power of His presence in our lives” Lisa Mae Huddleston

My reflection is from Living Faith:
The Lord is near to all who call upon him… Psalm 145:18
“When I was younger, I felt that God was far away, and I had to reach with all my strength or never be heard or seen. I learned to ask God to be near enough that I could feel the warmth of the healing light that comes with God‘s love. Nowadays my experience of God has changed; I can feel God near my bedside in the morning as the light comes through my window. I can feel God next to me when I experience a sense of accomplishment or happiness. I can feel God sitting on the floor with me when life events have knocked me down.
God has always been right here within reach, just waiting for me to ask for what I need. Even though we might find ourselves sometimes wondering where God is, there is no doubt that God hears us when we call.
Lord, please make your presence known to us who call on you for every need.” Vivian Amu

My reflection:
“When you have something particularly challenging to deal with, try to remind yourself…
You’ve got this moment… You can choose to be happy or unhappy. You can choose what you think, what you say, and how you feel. You can choose to be hopeful or hopeless, to respond angrily or cheerfully, to be bored or interested.
You’ve got this day… No matter what the weather is like, you can choose what kind of day it will be-beautiful or awful or somewhere in between. You can choose what you will do and what you want-to give up or give in or go on. You have a choice to do something or nothing, to start now or later. You can choose your attitude about what you’re facing.” Donna Fargo

My reflection is from Living Faith:
Master, we have worked hard all night and I’ve caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets. Luke 5:5
“Peter seems resigned and discouraged in this passage. Maybe that’s why he decides to take fishing advice from some preacher he just met. I guess we can all get a little desperate when things aren’t going our way. Yet no matter how bleak things seem, ours is a God of infinite abundance. He can bring joy from pain, hope from despair, even life from death. It’s easy to take that for granted when we’re hauling in catch after catch. When our nets keep coming up empty, though, our job is to keep throwing them back into the water. It’s then, when we’re staring into the depths, holding our breath, that we truly surrender to God. We stand before him, resigned and hopeful, no longer pretending that we are in charge, but finally ready to let the Lord do what he will.
Lord God, when I am discouraged, help me to trust in you.” Karla Manternach
Dear God, let me remember that nothing is impossible with you.

My reflection:
“A caring word or a smile giving freely has the power to turn someone’s life around.
Go beyond yourself and reach out to other people with a sincere love, respect, caring, and understanding of their needs.( Susan Polis Schutz)
One act of kindness can lead to another and then another. It all begins with one person.
By opening your heart to the people you meet, you invite them to open their hearts to you.
Make it a priority to be loving, compassionate, and kind.

My reflection:
“Know that you can reach deep inside and find everything you need to get through each moment that lies ahead.
When you talk to those who matter most, open the door to your heart. The wider it is, the easier it will be for things like compassion and understanding to come inside. And it just naturally follows… the more wonderful visitors you have, the more your life will shine.
Have simple pleasures in this complex world. Be a joyous spirit and a sensitive soul. Take those long walks that would love to be taken. Explore those sunlit paths that would love to oblige. Don’t just have minutes in the day; have moments in time.”
Let us stop and take time to think God for each wonderful moment.?
