My reflection:
“Joy is being in love and sleeping in the sunshine and running down a mountain path with the swiftness of a deer in the springtime. Joy expands your heart and opens your soul. Joy is snowflakes and slipping on the ice and getting up so you can slip all over again and never even feeling the cold. Living in joy doesn’t mean putting on a happy face. It means that joy is at the core of who you are and always have been. Joy is strong enough to carry you through the darkness and the pain into a place where joy still resides in ultimate measure. Seek to find joy and let Joy feel your life.” Rachel Snyder

My reflection today:
“There probably were two Valentines, both murdered around the year 269. One of them may have been the Bishop of Terni, Italy. In those days of persecution, Christians met secretly and hid their faith to protect their lives. Bishops were unable to hide and we’re often the first Christians in their communities to be tortured and killed. Often a bishop died in the hope that other Christians would not be hunted out.
The other Valentine was a priest and physician in Rome. A legend says that he sent letters of love and encouragement to the people of his community who lived in fear of persecution. From that legend the practice of sending valentines on his feast day may have begun.
But there is another explanation for the custom of sending valentines. In the Middle Ages people believe that on February 14, the day Saint Valentine died, birds begin choosing their mates for the springtime. So this day came to be thought of as the perfect day to choose a sweetheart.”
If you don’t have a valentine, let Jesus be your valentine.
Even if you do have a valentine, let Jesus be your Valentine. ❤️

My reflection:
“Don’t worry about the paths you should have taken or the opportunities you ignored. Instead, breeze in the life that surrounds you-let it fill your soul with light and hope.
Reflect on the past and all the memories, good and bad, that have made you who you are today.
Life can be so busy, and we sometimes take for granted the important little things that make us smile. Look at the sunset, share a cup of coffee with your best friend, or hear the wind rustle through the trees. Take some time to listen to life and feel the sun on your face. Stop to watch butterflies in your garden.
The gifts of beauty, inspiration, love, and reflection are all around you.” Carol Schelling
And let us stop and thank God for all these beautiful gifts each day.?

My reflection:
“One of God’s greatest gifts is the chance to be born again each day… Beginning with every sunrise, you can let go of the past and any regrets, mistakes, or sorrows it may have held. you can look ahead and see where you’d like to go, secure in the knowledge that God enables you to leave any emotional baggage where it belongs – in the past. You can choose to leave yesterday behind and start over again today – to be whoever and whatever you dream of being. Know that with God’s help and His constant, loving attention, you can achieve anything… beginning today.” Edmund O’Neill
With each sunrise God gives us a new beginning.?

My reflection:
“When you’re struggling with your faith and feelings, and discouragement has crowded out your hope, try to refocus and reclaim your power.
Erase the negatives and start over by thinking that life must be on your side because you’re not defeated – you’re alive! Take some time to be grateful for your blessings, and remember what you have and don’t have and what you can do that perhaps some cannot. Don’t forget that you are a spirit first and you have a body, mind, and soul to serve you. Then believe in your heart and say aloud that God is on your side, too, just as He Himself was told… ’Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’ (Mark 11:24)
‘For no word from God will ever fail.’ Luke 1:37
Always remember that life is on your side… and God is too.” Donna Fargo

My reflection:
“If we knew how much the habit of being thankful might do for us, I am sure we would take time out of every day to count up a few of our blessings. When the spirit of thankfulness takes its place in our consciousness, we radiate life from the very center of our being to the world about us” Author unknown
This is so true. How often do we take time to thank God for all the gifts that have been given to us? Life itself is a wonderful gift.

My reflection:
“Your presence adds something special and invaluable to the world. You bring joy to those who love you and a smile to everyone you meet.
All the small things you do every day add up to something pretty significant.
Compliments are someone’s way of letting you know how special you are. Accept them freely.
Over a lifetime, it’s the moments you take to help a friend in need, push a child on a swing, or encourage someone else’s dream that will be remembered.
Pat yourself on the back and smile, because all your hard work and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed.”

My reflection:
“When you don’t know what to do, which way to turn, or whom to trust…
When you can’t decide whether one action would be better than another…
When you’re anxious and confused and your heart and mind are in conflict…
Don’t forget to pray about it.
Prayer will bring you peace and help you rest your case. It will make you feel better. God has told us not to worry or be afraid. He wants us to cast our cares on Him – so surrendering your problems is really an act of obedience and devotion.
Remember that God is love. He is faithful and He is good.
Pray about everything that concerns you… and know without a doubt that your prayers will be answered.” Donna Fargo
let us remember that God is always with us.?

My reflection:
“Don’t you dare – even for an instant – think that you don’t deserve or need the good things that come your way! You deserve the very best, and you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for it or accept it with open arms when it’s offered to you. You work hard and put in the time and effort to get the job done. You should receive the greatest rewards ever in return for all your hard work. You deserve the best in every way.” Ashley Rice

My reflection:
“God said that all things are possible to those who believe. That means everything, anything, all. He didn’t list any exceptions. He doesn’t identify anyone specifically… except those who believe. And he wouldn’t tell us to do something that we weren’t able to do. That wouldn’t be fair, and God is surely fair.
If you’ve been messing around just doing whatever, there’s no better time than now to change. Since God‘s laws don’t change… it’s up to you to get the job done. You don’t even have to understand it all. Believe without the evidence. That’s God’s way. That’s what faith is. And faith gives you the power to achieve anything”
