My reflection:
“A lifeline in the form of family and friends – to anchor you, support you, and keep you going forward in a positive way when you’re faced with a crisis, so you always know you are a survivor.
Lots of positive thoughts – to help you fulfill all your wishes, so you always know you’re possibilities are unlimited… and success is your destiny.” Jacqueline Schiff
God wants us to succeed and gives us family and friends in our lives to help us along the journey

My reflection:
“Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in this life has a purpose.
There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.” Elizabeth Kubler Ross

My reflection:
“You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news on September 11, 2001. Neither will I. I was on the 110th floor in a smoke-filled room with a man who called his wife to say ‘Goodbye.’ I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the piece to say, ‘Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK… I am ready to go.’
I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and if she realized he really wasn’t coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help, for the very first time in her life.
‘ I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!’ I said. ‘ of course I will show you the way home- only believe in me now.’
I was at the base of the building with the priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to attend his flock in heaven. He heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, and every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken.
I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting them and showing them that their faith has save them.
I was in Texas, Kansas, London… I was everywhere. I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name – though not all know Me. Some met me for the first time on the 86th floor. Some sort Me with their very last breath. Some couldn’t hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; ‘Come to Me… this way… take my hand.’ Sam had never heard my voice before and a few chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.
I did not place you in the Tower that day, you may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in the explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?
September 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are ‘ready to go.’
… I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.
Love,
God

My reflection:
“A little added to a little… adds up to a lot.
Everyone’s life is lived somewhere between their aspirations and their limitations. Successful people have limitations, like everyone else, and setbacks that are hard to ignore. But they offset them with efforts and aspirations… that absolutely soar.
Try hard and dream big.
If you think of your life as a story that gradually unfolds, you will embrace the changes and more fully appreciate the moments. You will know how natural it is for a new chapters to begin and for the characters and events to surprise you every now and then. You will cherish your heroes and overcome your foes. And you can still have a beautiful story even if it hasn’t been great all along. Make the best of everything, and… always enjoy reading the page you’re on!” Douglas Pagels

My reflection:
“If each day is too short for all the wonderful things you want to do, don’t be frustrated.
Be thankful… that your wish list is so full.
With the beginning of each sunrise, think to yourself: ‘Here’s a brand new day coming into my life. I can’t wait to see how we’ll get along! I wonder what’s in store for us? What an adventure… spending time with a day I’ve never met before!’
Be open to the possibilities.
Count your blessings. Each one is so valuable, and there the best treasures you’ve got. And while you’re counting the big things, be sure to include the smaller ones, too.” Douglas Pagels
Remember to thank God each morning for every day is a gift!?

My reflection:
“As long as you keep trying you won’t ever stop achieving. Keep feeding your mind, and it won’t go hungry for ideas. Stay optimistic, and you won’t ever lose hope.
Embrace change, and you’ll keep on growing forever. Keep making new friends, and your circle will constantly expand. Nurture the talents of others, and you’ll always get results.
Be a promise keeper, and you’ll keep peoples trust. Be who you are, and you’ll always be real. Give credit to those who help you reach goals, and you’ll always have a team.
Keep aiming high and you’ll always have dreams. Keep your eyes open, and you’ll see opportunities. Keep your enthusiasm, and you’ll always be inspired.” Jacqueline Schiff

My reflection:
“Oh, the thousands of men and women all about us weary with care, troubled and ill at ease, running hither and thither to find peace, weary in body, soul, and mind; going to other countries, traveling the world over, coming back and still not finding it.
Of course they have not found it and they never will find it in this way, because they are looking for it where it is not. They are looking for it without when they should look within.
Peace is to be found within, and unless one finds it there, he/she will never find it at all.” Ralph Waldo Trine

My reflection is from Living Faith:
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord sustains my life. Psalm 54:6
“All I do, it seems, is charge things – devises and appliances.
It all seemed so amazing at first, didn’t it? Cordless phones, leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners! Bluetooth speakers, headphones and keyboards! No wires or cords tying us down! Freedom!
Not so fast. For we all know the frustration of that moment when our forgetfulness or carelessness has left us holding one more useless brick of metal and plastic, useless without a charge.
Nothing powers itself. Everything requires a source of energy from outside. Including me. I may think I’m doing this on my own – I may imagine that my life is about freedom – but of course it’s not. Like that phone or that vacuum, I have a source of energy that enables me to be myself and do what I’m made to do, and without God, I can do nothing.
Loving God, pour out your grace and power in my soul.” Amy Welborn
Let us take time each day to be recharged by our loving God!?

My reflection:
“Positive thinking is a habit, like any other; we can practice it every day until it becomes second nature to us – and along the way, transform our lives.” Washington L. Crowley
Prayer can do the same thing.?
