My reflection:
“We cannot change the past; we just need to keep the good memories and acquire wisdom from the mistakes we’ve made. We cannot predict the future; we just need to hope and pray for the best and what is right, and believe that’s how it will be. We can live a day at a time, enjoying the present and always seeking to become a more loving and better person.” Karen Berry
Let us also remember that God is walking that path with us every day.?

My reflection:
Twelve ways to keep smiling!
“Hold onto your dreams, and never let them go.
Show the rest of the world how wonderful you are!
Give circumstances a chance, and give others the benefit of the doubt.
Wish on a star that shines in your sky.
Take on your problems one by one and work things out.
Rely on all the strength you have inside.
Let loose of the sparkle and spirit that you sometimes try to hide.
Stay in touch with those who touch your life with love.
Look on the bright side and don’t let the losers keep you from winning.
Be yourself, because you are filled with special qualities that have brought you this far and that will always see you through.
Keep your spirits up.
Make your heart happy and let it reflect on everything you do!” Ceal Carson

My reflection:
“Be true to the light that is deep within you. Hold onto your joy for life. Keep good thoughts in your mind and good feelings in your heart. Keep love in your life, and you will find the love and light in everyone.
Be giving, forgiving, patient, and kind. Have faith in yourself. Be your own best friend, and listen to the voice that tells you to be your best self.
Be true to yourself in the paths that you choose.Follow your talents and passions; don’t take the roads others say you must follow because they are the most popular. Take the paths where your talents will thrive – the ones that will keep your spirits alive with enthusiasm and everlasting joy.
Most of all, never forget that there is no brighter light than the one within you. Keep on being true to yourself. Keep shining your light on others so they will have a reason to smile. Follow your inner light to your own personal greatness, and remember that you are admired and loved just as you are.” Jacqueline Schiff
Let us remember that that light within us is God‘s light.?

 My reflection today:
“Dear Lord, today we honor our veterans, worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country. We pray that you will bless them, Lord, for their unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our countries heritage, for all of us.
Bless them abundantly for the hardships they faced, for the sacrifices they made, for their many different contributions to America’s victories over tyranny and oppression. We respect them, we thank them, we honor them, we are proud of them, and we pray that you will watch over these special people and bless them with peace and happiness. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.” Joanna Fuchs
Thank you God for all those who have served our country through all the different military services.
May God continue to bless them and keep them. I pray in a special way for my uncles my brother and my grand nephew.???

My reflection:
“Trust your decisions and feelings and do what is best for you. The future will work itself out. Don’t let anyone else’s negativity influence your dreams, values or hopes. Focus on what you can change and let go of what you can’t. You know your own worth, what you’ve accomplished, and what you’re capable of. Your goals may take a bit longer and be harder to achieve than you had hoped, but… Concentrate on positives and combine faith with generous portions of patience and determination. Step boldly and confidently into your future we’re happiness, success, and dreams await you.” Barbara Cage
God has given us the faith to believe in ourselves, we just need to use it.

My reflection:
“ One day at a time – this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.” Ida Scott Taylor

My reflection:
“We can’t always control the people, events or circumstances that surround us, but we can control the way we choose to react to them. No person or thing has the power to make us angry or scared or frustrated-these are simply ways to choose to respond. Instead of feeling resentful that people don’t always act the way we like or circumstances don’t always unfold as we’d prefer, it helps to focus instead on our inner being – and becoming more aware of the thoughts and feelings we want to experience.
When we no longer rely on circumstances to make us happy and choose happiness in spite of them, we soon notice the very things we found objectionable magically fading away. And in their place cascades a glorious deluge of all things deserving and reflective of our good energy.
We can’t always control the world around us, but we can master the one within and create joy and beauty both inside and out.” Lynn Keachie

My reflection:
“Our lives are made up of a million moments, spent in a million different ways. Some are spent searching for love, peace, and harmony. Others are spent surviving day to day. But there is no greater moment then when we find that life – with all its joys and sorrows – it’s meant to be lived one day at a time.
It’s in this knowledge that we discover the most wonderful truth of all. Whether we live in a forty room mansion, surrounded by servants and wealth, or find it a struggle to manage the rent month to month, we have it within our power to be fully satisfied and live a life with true meaning.” Regina Hill
God encourages us to take one day at a time.?

My reflection:
“Life can make choices for us. Sometimes these choices seem unhappy or unfair, but in the end we control our own destiny because we can decide how people and events affect us.
So much of our happiness lies within the choices we make. We can accept that life isn’t the way we want it to be, or we can change it so that it will be.
We can walk through the shadows, or we can choose to smile and seek out the sunlight. We can create grand dreams that never leave the ground, or we can be builders of dreams that come true. We can look at only the negative aspects of ourselves, or we can lift ourselves up by being our own best friend. We can live in the past or dream about the future or we can live for today. We can give up when the road becomes difficult, or we can keep on going until the view is much better. The choices in life are endless, and so is the potential for happiness.” Nancye Sims
