My reflection:
“Sometimes it’s important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it’s essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow.”Douglas Pagels

My reflection:
“The Habits Manifesto
What we do every day matters more than what we do once in a while.
Make it easy to do right and hard to go wrong.
Focus on actions not outcomes.
By giving something up, we may gain.
Things often get harder before they get easier.
When we give more to ourselves, we can ask more from ourselves.
We’re not very different from other people, but those differences are very important.
It’s easier to change our surroundings than ourselves.
We can’t make people change, but when we change, others may change.
We should make sure the things we do to feel better don’t make us feel worse.
We manage what we monitor.
Once we’re ready to begin, begin now.” Gretchen Rubin

My reflection:
Have something unique in your life that’s just for you – whether it’s a special interest, a particular hobby, or a favorite tradition.
When the road curves to lead you into new discoveries… Let it take you. When the wind pulls under your wings and urges you on to greater heights… Let it take you. (Susan A.J. Lyttek)
Remember how it was to be a child. Take your shoes off! Explore! Play a game! Let your imagination transport you to wherever you want to go!
It’s okay to color outside the lines.
Be happy now!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

My reflection is from Living Faith:
He sighed from the depths of his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign?” Mark 8:12
Many times I have been someone who asked God to show me a sign
Just let me know that somehow everything will be okay. Give me a sign of which direction or path to take. Let me know if I am on the right track.
I feel like God responds. I see a beautiful sunset and I know that somehow everything will be okay. One door of opportunity closes that reveals another way. I pause for confirmation rather than rushing ahead, and I find the clarity or guidance I need to take my next step.
I am not asking God for a sign that he is real or that end times are at hand. Maybe it isn’t a sign at all that I am seeking but more of a prayer that God will remind me that I am not alone, that he sees me and that he cares about me. God is always speaking, and he has the entire language of the universe at his disposal.
I want to become a better listener.” Kristen Armstrong

My reflection:
“Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most: the song of a bird, a warm breeze blowing through the trees, a friendly voice on the other end of a telephone, a note written by a friend to us when we need encouragement, the wag of a dog’s tail as we come home from a hard day at work. These things are intangible – we cannot put a price tag on what they mean to us or how they help us to feel abiding peace even in the midst of turmoil.” Heather Perkins

My reflection:
“Life can be so busy, and we sometimes take for granted the important little things that make us smile. Look at the sunset, share a cup of coffee with your best friend, or hear the wind rustle through the trees. Take some time to listen to life and feel the sun on your face.” Carol Schelling
God is always with us.?

My reflection:
“Resolve to be: tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the wrong.  There will be times in your life when you are all of these.” Author Unknown

My reflection:
“Fill in the blank:
I’m so lucky to be __________
Then… with that phrase in mind, fill up your heart… and smile accordingly.
When your heart is filled with gratitude for what you do have, your head isn’t nearly so worried about what you don’t.” Douglas Pagles
