My reflection:
To be in the moment means to sit in reflection, in silence, allowing for thoughts and emotions to flow freely. It means to take a breather from your every day schedule to enjoy the simple things of life.
“To be in the moment means not letting life pass you by. It allows you to experience each moment for what it is and then let it go like a feather floating in the wind.
To be in the moment allows us to see the many blessings we have – the wonderful gifts that we so quickly look past in our day-to-day lives. It means truly and entirely living.”
Lamisha Serf
Let us stop and thank God for all the gifts in our life.?

My reflection:
“It isn’t always easy to make changes, but there’s no better advice than this: just do your best. Make sure you stay strong enough to move ahead, because there are some wonderful rewards waiting for you.
It won’t all make sense right away, but I promise you: over the course of time, answers will come, decisions will prove to be the right ones, and the path will be easier to see.” Douglas Pagels

My reflection:
“Having prayer in your life means that you have peace and comfort in your heart as you walk down any pathway your life has to offer.
It means you can talk to a caring and compassionate Father who always has the time to listen and who never fails to understand the depth of your soul.
Having prayer in your life means having the assurance that nothing can ever come your way that you and God, united together, cannot deal with and ultimately overcome. He has His hands in everything and things will always work out for your good.
When you pray, you can be assured, with no uncertainty, that you will be given the strength to endure anything that happens to you, and you will become a better person. Cathy

Loving God, give me the strength to take time each day in quiet prayer.?

My reflection is from Living Faith:
Praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted. Psalm 148:13
“Last fall, during months of painful rehab following my knee joint replacement, I routinely ran into the deacon at our church. He also happened to be a physical therapist and knew my healing was taking longer than expected. I was discouraged! Yet he would ask about my progress and, knowing his profession, I always told him my knee bend measurements. One Sunday when I told him ‘111 degrees,’ he replied with two observations: ‘That’s a milestone! I wonder what Psalm 111 might say?’ I wondered too and looked it up. The psalm’s first line stayed with me all week: ‘Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with all my heart.’ that week, I drove to my physical therapy praising God out loud. I began to praise God every day for the exercises, my therapist, my new knee and my renewed prayer-praising God even amid my distress. For every degree gained, I learned a new psalm. At measuring 112 degrees, I learned Psalm 112; for 113, Psalm 113 and so on. Lord made discouragement never stop me from praising you.” Pat Gohn

My reflection:
“The essential thing is not what we say but what God says to us and through us. In that silence, He will listen to us; there He will speak to our soul, and there we will hear His
voice.” Mother Teresa
Let us take quiet time each day to listen to God‘s word in our life.?

My reflection is from Living Faith:
“This is my Son, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” we ourselves heard this voice come from heaven… 2 Peter 1: 17–18
“Jesus brought the disciples to the mountain to pray with him. Though they had probably prayed with Jesus many times, this time is strikingly different because they heard God’s voice speaking to them.thankfully, we don’t have to climb a mountain to hear God call us. When we pray – throughout the day – we can listen with our hearts wide open to hear God‘s voice.
Listening requires a willingness to pause our litany of prayer intentions and ignore our worries and distractions, of which the world provides in abundance. Jesus heard God‘s voice in his heart continually calling him to care for the poor, heal the sick and forgive his enemies.
Help us to quiet our minds and hearts, Jesus, that we may hear the voice of God.” Deborah A. Meister
Let us take time each day to find some quiet time to be present to our God.❤️

My reflection:
“Choose to be well in every way. Choose to be happy no matter what. Decide that each day will be good just because you’re alive.
You have power over your thoughts and feelings. Don’t let your circumstances dictate how you feel. Don’t let your thoughts and feelings color your situation blue or desperate.” Donna Fargo

My reflection:
“Here’s the thing… life changes a lot. So cherish the things you love most, and keep a sharp eye out for the good in every day life. Be aware of pitfalls – those situations that don’t feel quite right – and keep peace in your heart.
Even when it’s raining, when the world around you is spinning and flailing, when the door won’t open and the car won’t start – keep peace in your heart.” Ashley Rice
Let us remember that God is always present with us.❤️

My reflection:
I took a few days off now back into the groove.
Write all the words I have spoken to you in a book. Jeremiah 30:2
“As a writer, I love words. I am fascinated by the power, mystery, beauty, rhythm and sound. The respect for words permeates our Christian faith. In Genesis, God uses simple words to create the universe. And what is the Bible but a collection of God‘s words to us, assuring us of gods tender care and challenging us to live lives a faithful love?
Jesus comes into our world and proves to be a wordsmith par excellence. He crafts enduring images and stories to convey his message of faith, forgiveness and service. Jesus words transform the hearts of individuals, draw massive crowds and, sadly, incite his enemies to put him to death – to silence him. But, on Easter Sunday, Jesus has the last word. appearing to his stunned apostles, he blesses them with a single word: Peace.
Today, let us be mindful of the words we hear, see, speak and write. May all our words be rooted in our discipleship with Jesus, the Word of God.” Sr. Melanie Svoboda, S.N.D.
Let us thank God for sharing wonderful words with us.?
