My reflection is from Living Faith:
Vanity of vanities, says Qoheleth, vanity of vanities! All things are vanity! What prophet has man from all the labor which he toils at under the sun? Ecclesiastes 1:2–3
“Judging from often-depressing tenor of our world, it would seem the opening thoughts of Ecclesiastes contain a certain amount of validity. despite humanity‘s efforts to change, wars continue, distressing poverty and hunger remain, hatred and bigotry still exist. and yet, think of the countless kindnesses others have shown us, the beautiful events we’ve experienced, the comfort of relationships and much more. Rather than doom and gloom, this opening from Ecclesiastes can lead us to appreciate who and what we have, to keep everything in perspective and remember there’s much more to being alive than what resides on the surface of existence.” Sr. Joyce Rupp, O.S.M.
Let us remember that God is our guiding force.

My reflection:
“We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” Marie Curie
God gives us the grace that we need each day

My reflection:
“Think about the good things in life, like sunshine, holidays, feeling loved, special friendships, and laughter. Think about rainbows, blue skies, and beautiful sunsets and feel loved, cared about, and accepted. Remember that in life although there is some bad stuff, good things really do happen, too.” Maria Mullins
Let us stop and thank God for all the good things in our life.?

My reflection is from Living Faith:
No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel or sets it under a bed; rather, he places it on the lamp stand so that those who enter may see the light. Luke 8:16
“As Christians, we learn an amazing truth: God is light. From the Christmas star to the dazzling brightness of the resurrected Christ, we come to know that believing in God means living in the light. Our faith is a light that shines bright within us.
And if we believe that light comes from Jesus, we really have no choice but to give it a place of significance in our lives. We need to set it somewhere where it will cast its glow so others can see it and say, ‘ I wonder where all that light is coming from.’
Where can you shine God‘s light today?” Steve Givens
May our light shine bright today.?

My reflection:

“Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inward peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.” Francis de Sales
God is always walking with us.?

My reflection:
“You are such a deserving person, much more than you give yourself credit for being. There are many, many things you do for everyone else. So please, do this one thing for yourself: the next time you picture your future, take the time to brush up on your wishing skills and imagine what a joyful, fulfilling tomorrow looks like… for you.
Don’t just color in a paint-by-numbers image of what you’re ‘expected’ to be. Come up with a picture that truly reflects you’re down-to-the-core desires and your most-hoped-for-goals. make it a masterpiece that shows you with a big smile on your face as you take steps on the path that leads in the direction of your dreams. And use that beautiful image to inspire you to make your life more of what you want it to be.
Do it because this is exactly what you would want for someone else. And do it because you deserve the same considerate, wonderful wish…for yourself. Douglas Pagels

My reflection:
“We must pray without ceasing, in every occurrence and employment of our lives – that prayer which is rather a habit of lifting up the heart to God as in a constant communication with Him.” St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

My reflection:

“In our busy lives, we let life carry us away on a never-ending road filled with responsibilities of a day-to-day existence.
We often forget that there is more along the way then just bills to pay, phone calls to return, and errands to run. There are people in our lives who need to be hugged, who need to be loved. There are people in our lives who need their accomplishments noticed and praised. We need to remember how fragile hearts can be, how quickly a soul can grow weary, how fast a spirit can break.
We forget that a heart is like a garden that needs to be tended to and nourished with what only another heart can give – love and appreciation, devotion and honesty.”
